Where is God?

Maithree, Goldy and Rohan were busy searching for some thing. They opened all boxes and cupboards and also rooms. Thatha, who had gone for a walk, came back and asked them, “Hey what are you searching for?” Maithree was the first to reply, “Thatha, Grandma, told us that God is everywhere and we are trying to search for him. So far we have not been able to see him.” What did you conclude?” Rohan replied, “We know that Grandma does not tell a lie but we are not able to see God any where. Possibly God is good in “Hide and Seek.”
Thatha laughed and told, “In olden times there was a boy like Rohan. His name was Sathya. His mother told him that “God is everywhere.” He tried to search for God like what you were doing. He was terribly disappointed. His mother told him, to meet a wise man called Sathyananda.
Sathya went and met Sathyananda and asked him, “Sir, though my mother says, God is everywhere; I am not able to see him. How can I see him?”
Sathyananda brought a bucket of good drinking water. He asked Sathya to taste the water from the top of the bucket, middle of the bucket and the bottom of the bucket. Sathya said that water from all the three places did not have any taste. Sathyananda then took two spoons of table salt and put in the bucket of water. He asked Sathya to come the next day.”
“Sathya promptly arrived at the house of Sathyananda next day. Sathyananda took Sathya near the bucket of water and asked him to search for salt in the water in the bucket. Sathya was not able to see any salt. He told Sathyananda, “Sir I am not able to see any salt.” Then Sathyananda asked him to taste the water in the bucket at the top, middle and bottom. Sathya did and told him, it was salty. Then Sathyananda asked him, “You have not been able to see any salt but I hope you will agree that salt is everywhere in the bucket.”
Sathya said, “Sir, I agree with you.”
Then Sathyananda told him, “God is everywhere in the world. He is like salt in the bucket of water. You cannot see him. But you surely can feel him.”
Maithree and Rohan were convinced that God is everywhere but Goldy told, “Thatha Sathyananda is a bad man. He should have put sugar in the bucket of water.”
